Raima Saraswat (11) qualifies as an anomaly in the middle-class, neighbourhood of Orlem, Malad. It's been a while since her mother ran away, leaving her alone with her aloof father, Amol, who is still in shock. When Kabir, her sweet classmate, extends an invitation to his birthday party, Raima turns her wardrobe upside down and tries on the only dress that seems suitable for this party. Soon after, Amol finds Raima crying in her room. After much prodding and pleading, Amol learns that his daughter has grown and is in dire need of a bra. An unlikely shopping spree marks the beginning of a friendship between Raima and Amol.
